A fresh take on a small residential garden in Bondi brought us the opportunity to create something truly special for our client, Kim. She requested a clean, minimal garden space where her kids could play and a bespoke spa pool with custom bench seating for the entire family to enjoy and relax in.

Designing a garden that balances both play and relaxation can be a challenge, but we embraced it with enthusiasm. The result is a serene, functional space that meets all of Kim’s needs. We started with a clean, minimal design to ensure the garden remains uncluttered and easy to maintain. The simplicity of the design provides a calming backdrop for the bespoke spa pool and seating area.

The centrepiece of the garden is a custom-designed spa pool, perfect for unwinding after a long day. With built-in bench seating, the entire family can comfortably relax and enjoy the soothing water. We also included a dedicated play area for the kids, ensuring they have plenty of space to run around and have fun. The play area is seamlessly integrated into the garden, maintaining the overall clean and minimal aesthetic.

To enhance the tranquillity of the space, we incorporated natural elements like lush greenery and carefully selected plants. The greenery not only adds beauty but also provides a sense of privacy and seclusion. We can’t wait to see how this Bondi spa garden evolves over time. As the plants grow and mature, they will add even more charm and character to the space, making it an even more inviting retreat for Kim and her family.

Kim also requested a new makeover for the front porch garden, and we were excited to bring her vision to life. We added custom timber-cladding retaining planter boxes and bench seating, creating a welcoming and functional space. New paving was installed to enhance the aesthetic appeal and practicality of the front yard. The open-front garden design allows Kim to engage with her neighbours, fostering a sense of community on her street.

Antony and his team did a wonderful job on completely re-designing, landscaping and planting the entire outside area of our plot in North Bondi. Everything we redone, the front and back garden and side access passage. Antony & the team are creative, diligent and friendly in equal measure. When getting quotes, no one else we spoke to offered the same level of creativity and ingenuity that Bondi Landscapes did. Several problems needed solving; The design and build of a bespoke covered area for bikes, hard and soft landscaping that would work in a small area, and a bespoke front garden with totally unique design. It all happened smoothly and efficiently. Complete strangers passing our house will now stop and comment on how lovely it looks. I cannot speak more highly of Antony and his team, and the beautiful yard he designed and landscaped for us. Not only was it executed perfectly, with the highest attention to detail, but it was beautifully designed, with every inch of the yard carefully considered and planned. Being a relatively small space, every inch matters and is visible - and both the hard and soft scapes blend perfectly and create the haven we were wanting. We also asked Antony to build a large planter box for our front porch and we had a fairly clear image of what we wanted. Antony deciphered from our layman's description what we envisaged, and executed beyond what we had imagined. We are thrilled with the finish and have passers by comment on how amazing our front porch now looks. What we believe sets Antony and his team apart are their upmost professionalism and creative energy. Having just finished a renovation with a builder, we'd dealt with our fair share of tradies who treated our home like any other job and were happy to execute at a passable level. However, the respect and reverence Antony and his team had for our small yard (as well as our neighbours') was beyond measure. He was on site regularly, ensuring every small detail was addressed, and he was 10 steps ahead of any potential issue or roadblock. I recall watching him checking over every single panel of the fence his team constructed for us, to ensure it was perfectly seamless, which it was. He was also friendly and transparent with our neighbours, and assisted us be across any discussions he'd had with them.
